When it comes to transitioning from my summer wardrobe to my fall wardrobe, I can be a little resistant to change. My dad has told me that I was born with a stubborn streak….
This past week, my original plan was to lay low and take care of some “adult” items that have been burning a hole in my to-do list for quite some time. Well my plan was quickly thrown out the window the minute I found out that one of my travel buddies from my Costa Rica trip was in town for the weekend.
My favorite aspect of group travel is the friendships I’ve made on those trips. I’ve already seen two friends from my Memorial weekend Costa Rica trip this summer and have made plans to meet up with a few others.
With plans set for a night out with friends, I pulled out this new long sleeve floral dress (under $100!!!). As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not a huge fan of wearing pants in general, and that includes jeans. So when it comes my personal style during the late summer/early fall in-between weather, I tend to stick to my favorite floral printed dress but with a long sleeve twist.
This dress was the perfect in-between night out dress with it’s dark floral print and long sleeves to keep me warm. I also pulled out my favorite poppy red clutch from Holly & Tanager. If you haven’t checked out their mini clutch, you must! I love that this clutch has a comfort strap to make it easier to hold but it also includes a strap that enables you to convert it to a cross-body bag. #handsfreeforthewin!
So I would love to know, what are you guys most looking forward too this fall? I’m starting to put together a list of activities I hope to accomplish this upcoming season and I’m open to suggestions!
