TGIF! Hello Friday!

Raise your hand if you are ready for the weekend! I’m planning to get the most of my weekend by spending some quality time at the beach. I’m lucky enough to live just a short walk to Lake Michigan, making it ideal to hop on over to the lake for some quality time with my feet in the sand.

I’ve been enjoying every single minute of my “fun-employment” this week, but I’m definitely itching to get back to work. Dressing for work in the summer can sometimes be a huge challenge. It’s hot and humid outside, but forced air conditioning in the office require a sweater to always been on hand.

Thankfully, fit & flare buttoned down shirt dresses have been an under the radar trend that I’m 100% in to. I’ve been seeing them everywhere lately and they are the perfect solution to the hot/cold office dilemma. I picked up this dress last week, and it’s the perfect combo of summer style white also being office appropriate. This dress came in at under $100, but I’ve also found quite a few similar styles all under $100.

You guys may have also noticed that I’m pretty much in love with the Tory Burch wedges that I’m wearing in my photos. I picked them up last year on sale and have been in love with them ever since. While they sold out and are no longer available, I’ve rounded up a few similar options for those of you that have asked.

So before I head back to the office this Monday, I’ll be sipping my rose riverside.
