TGIF Everyone! For those of you lucky enough to have a long weekend due to the Easter holiday, I’m envious!
If you follow me on insta-stories, (follow me @caravanofstyle) you know that my grandma is spending the entire weekend with me in Chicago. I’ve lived in Chicago for 5 years now and my grandma has only come to visit me once, so it’s a big deal to have her here with me this weekend.
What’s on our agenda? Well I plan to take her out for her first ramen noodle experience on Friday night. I scored tickets to the Aladdin at the Cadillac Palace Theater for Saturday night – we’re huge Disney fans in my household thanks to her, and Sunday we plan a low-key Easter brunch.
As for my Easter outfit, I’m actually sticking to fall colors this time. I found this amazing rust colored midi skirt from Tobi and I love the way the color pops agains my skin tone. It may not scream “spring” but style is all about wearing what you feel most comfortable in.
Anyone have any fun city plans this weekend?! Let me know if you have any additional suggestions on what I should do with my grandma while she’s in town!
