The Girl in the Emerald Green Dress

Let’s do this Monday! I’m unusually pumped for a Monday but it’s entirely because this is a short work week for me. While I’m sad to see summer come to an end after this upcoming long weekend, I am excited to spend three days in Michigan in one house with my amazing friends.

I’m starting to mentally prepare for the fall season to begin and with that I’ve started to transition my wardrobe from bright pinks and oranges, to jewel tone colors. If you haven’t noticed yet, I’m a huge fan of emerald green. It’s one of the few colors in the world that I find flattering on every skin tone.

I picked up this emerald green dress a few weeks ago at the Nordstrom #NSale and instantly fell in love with the flattering cut and color. When it comes to professional work outfits, I prefer to wear dresses for as along as I can before winter hits.
