If there is one thing about the summer season that is guaranteed, it’s that every weekend quickly gets booked up with weddings, cocktail parties, and various other activities. In general humans thrive during the summer months and everyone is ready to celebrate alongside each other – it’s actually a beautiful thing.
As I was looking at my calendar last weekend, I quickly realized that every single weekend from now through the end of July has been planned out. Many of them filled with various parties – birthday’s, engagements, and work event that all require a new go to dress for the season.
In comes my new favorite LBD of the season – this button down blazer dress. Zara has really been killing it for their spring/summer season and I picked up this black blazer dress for under $100 in their stores a few weeks before it was available online. This sleeveless dress with it’s drop waist and flared out skirt is an unexpected choice for the season, but one that fits perfectly for the cocktail parties that I’m attending this season.
I quickly realized that blazer dresses are showing up at a number of my favorite retailers; some long sleeve, some more professional for the workplace, all at really great prices. I pulled a few of my favorites down below that were all priced at under $100.
