Sheath Dress // Blue for Spring

A Lark & Co Sheath Dress in Cobalt Blue for under $75

Hello Monday! You showed up a bit too quickly for my likely but here we are.

If any of you celebrated St.Patrick’s Day this weekend in Chicago, you may have seen the city come out in full blaze. I partied it up all day as if I was still in my early 20’s and let’s just say that I ended up taking it slow on Sunday morning.

If you are anything like me and have a harder time getting it together on Monday morning, you know how frustrating it can be to stand in your closet half-awake attempting to figure out what you are going to wear to work that day. As much as I try to prepare the night before, it doesn’t always happen and that’s why I’m a huge fan of having a few to-go dresses that I can throw on and get out the door quickly.

I’m in full spring cleaning mode right now and I’m slowing going through my closet and donating, selling, or recycling a majority of my wardrobe items. For every item I get rid of, I’m purchasing something new that I love and this dress has become a favorite of mine really quickly.

For those of you that shop Amazon Fashion (if you’re not, you should!) you know that they’ve got their own brand Lark & Ro that focuses of items that are geared toward the workplace. To be honest, the clothing items are pretty hit or miss, but this sheath dress is a winner. I love the cobalt blue color, a stand out for this spring season, and the faux wrap detail. As the temperatures are slowly coming up, it’s pretty easy to throw it on in the morning and head out the door.

I was heading out to a happy hour event after work and threw on my faux leather jacket for a more casual vibe.

So tell me, what’s your favorite spring color?
