Anyone else feel like they need an extra large cup of coffee today? I swear, Daylight Savings Time always messes with my internal calendar. I feel extra tired this morning; I’m not a fan to say the least.
The best part of “springing forward” is that we are only about a week away from the official start to the spring season! The weather in Chicago will be cooperating with the city hitting 50 degrees almost every single day of the week, I’m a happy camper.
When temperatures hover in the “cool” but not “freezing” territory – I tend to ditch the tights but still pull on my sweater dresses during the week that are still comfortable yet professional. Sweater dresses are by far the most versatile transitional wardrobe item a woman can have in her closet.
This weekend, I pulled out a new favorite fit and flare sweater dress from English Factory. English Factory, a brand that I discovered on Shopbop during their sale last month. If you are on the hunt for feminine yet work appropriate wardrobe staples, English Factory has the most beautiful tops and dresses.
This dress is a bit short on me to wear to the office, however I loved it so much that I wore it out this past weekend when I went out to dinner with some friends. The long sleeves kept me warm but the fit and flare style flattered my pear shaped figure.
Funny enough, I got the most compliments this past weekend on the double circle pearl belt I’m wearing! I picked it up from ASOS last week and it’s only $20! It comes in a gold, silver, and darker pearl option as well. I love the fact that this belt can be dressed up or dressed down with jeans. A new favorite purchase for the season!
