This week was a brutal reminder that winter isn’t going away anytime soon. However, I’m refusing to accept this and instead have already started to look toward the spring season. It helps that I’ve got a vacation to look forward to at the end of March.
Since I think that the worst is behind us, I though it would a good idea to share with all of you my winter wardrobe staples from this current winter season. As some of you may have noticed, I’m currently loving my knee high black suede boots, as seen here, and here, oh and here. What can I say, I’m obsessed!
From my favorite professional sweater to a skirt that I found for under $25, all my favorite items are linked below!
I’d love to hear from you guys, what’s been your go-to winter staples this season?

This suede skirt that I picked up on mega sale from LOFT (currently 40% off the sale price) has become my go to skirt this winter season. Between the navy blue color and interesting grommet detail (a trend for 2018!), this skirt easily goes from work to play making it a versatile winter wardrobe staple.

I don’t own very many handbags but this Furla dome tote has been a favorite of mine for years. It’s been my go to handbag for any professional work occasions. The shape is trendy and the interior space is plenty as well. I’m consistently reaching for this handbag and it’s definitely worth the investment.

I’ve struggled for years to find over-the-knee boots that would fit my wide calfs. Thankfully I found these boots on sale for under $100 and I’ve worn them to death this winter season. They can easily be dressed up with a dress or skirt but also give off a casual vibe when paired with dark skinny jeans.

Winters can be long in Chicago and it can be hard to want to get up and dressed for work. I picked up this faux collar sweater and it’s my favorite throw and go sweater to wear to work. The built in collar gives a more professional vibe to the look and it goes with just about anything.

I prefer to wear dresses or skirts most days & I’ve become picky on the kind of stockings I buy. They must be warm, opaque, & not ride up. These tights from ASOS have been my go to pair for the last few winters, last forever & you can’t beat the price!

If there is one item that has gotten me through this winter blues, it’s been this lilac statement coat. It’s a great alternative to my puffy coat that gets me through these winters. For under $100, the detailed embroidery and color is absolutely worth the purchase.

I recently fell in love with this knee length skirt and I wear it at least once a week. I can’t believe that I found something so staple worthy on Amazon for under $30. The length and material make it appropriate for the office and for under $30, it comes in a variety of colors.
