Blue is the Color of Summer

Happy Friday! Hopefully this week went by relatively quickly and you are gearing up for an epic weekend.

I landed in Paris this morning and after a long red-eye flight, I’m looking forward to relaxing a bit this morning before I head out and explore the city this morning. Follow along on my Instagram (@caravanofstyle) if you are looking for a little escape from reality. If any of you have any recommendations for a place to grab a great cup of coffee in Paris, please let me know!

Earlier this week as I packed for this trip (honestly, I don’t know how I fit so much stuff into my suitcase. I’m usually pretty low maintenance when it comes to packing…), I noticed that my wardrobe is literally 90% blue and white at this point. As I mentioned before, I tend to be a creature of habit when it comes to my personal style. I’m clearing jealous of Peggy’s recent trip to Greece, because I’m feeling the Greek color scheme these days.

When it comes to the color of summer, warm tone oranges, pink’s, and red tend to dominate the fashion world. However,I tend to gravitate toward a more cooler Mediterranean palette of blue’s and white’s, like this lovely dress that I picked up for $50 bucks earlier this week. If you guys haven’t though of shopping on Amazon for work wear, you are seriously missing out on a great selection of sheath dresses that are just perfect for the office.

The feathery pattern on this dress really stood out to me, as did the bright blue hues of the dress making it perfect for my office to happy hour lifestyle.

So what’s on everyone’s agenda this weekend? If you have any more tips for me on France, please send them my way!
