Well Hello spring! For those of you in the mid-west region, we had one of the most beautiful spring days this past weekend and my mood has definitely been uplifted. Although we are only nine days into the new month, April is proving to be one of my most busiest months.
My brother came to visit me for his spring break last week (he’s a teacher) and we spent the week eating delicious Mediterranean food, celebrating SPIN Chicago’s 1st anniversary, and enjoying our traditional Art Museum tour.
Saturday proved to be the perfect spring day, as I was able to ditch the winter coat. It can feel so freeing when your comfortable in just a light blouse, like this one that I picked out from Tobi, and spring jacket.
I started off my day with an afternoon Upside Down Tea Party (a classy way to day drink) with Rachel & Peggy, followed by a long stroll down the Riverwalk (a must do if you live and/or are visiting the city!), and dinner out on the patio at one of my favorite pizza places – Happy Camper.
For those of you that are looking for cute and affordable shoes for this spring, look no further than these $30 (seriously!) lace-up wedges that I picked up that morning from Target. I spent the entire day wearing this shoes and I can say that they are super comfortable and required absolutely no “breaking in”. A win/win in my book; especially for the price!
P.S. Did anyone shop the Victoria Beckham collection on Target? Let me what you picked up!
