Boom, and just like that we are back to Monday. Last week was honestly the pits overall for me and therefore I’ve kept mostly to myself these past few days. Over a year ago, I wrote about how important it is to take care of yourself for your overall mental health, and it’s something I’ll be preaching more and more of this year. I’m working hard at putting myself first this year.
With that being said, I’ve challenged myself for Lent this year to take on a good habit. I’m working out every single day for the next 40 days as a way to make myself stronger and bring me some mental clarity. So far a few days into it and while I’m definitely sore, I feel really good. Now if I could only get the meditation thing down….
On a more fun note, after a massive spring cleaning this weekend I finally made room in my closet for some pretty new spring items. To quote one of my favorite movies, “florals for spring, groundbreaking.” It may not be groundbreaking but it’s sure fun! I picked up this dress for under $100 on ASOS and I’ve been all over town in this dress. The length and style of the dress is perfect for the office or a night out on the town with your best gal pals.
So for those of you that do participate in Lent, what did you give up or pick up this season?
P.S. For those of you that have asked about how I got my rose gold hair color and my maintenance tips, I’ll be sharing them in a blog post at the end of this month. I promise it will be good!
