Dressing For In-Between Weather

How to dress a summer dress for the in-between weather

Welcome to the last week of March guys! This month has flown by so quick that I almost feel like I’ve missed out on so much stuff. However, I am ready to embrace April as I gets me one month closer to my first vacation of the year – Costa Rica.

In the meantime, I’ve been running around Chicago hosting events for Under30Experiences and catching up with friends that I haven’t seen in a while. My next two weeks are completely slammed with my family coming to visit, but I’m excited to play tourist in Chicago.

While the calendar and vibes of Chicago may say it’s “spring”, the weather is telling me a totally different story. I personally hate this in-between weather that Chicago has during this time of the year. It makes it so much more difficult to get dress some days! I’ve sold off the majority of my winter stuff (follow me on poshmark!) and I’m looking forward to pulling out all my favorite spring pieces.

This past weekend, I decided to shake my wardrobe up a bit by pairing one of my favorite spring collared skater dresses from Tobi with a comfortable stripe tee. I’m a huge fan of layering teeshirts underneath summer dresses, and a striped tee is the ultimate layering tool that every woman needs in her closet.

So what fun plans do you guys have for the rest of this week? I’m looking to do some fun tourist things with my brother when he visits, so I would love some additional suggestions!

It’s so difficult dressing for this type of weather, but you look so cute here!
