Have you ever realized that your comfort zone is a lot small than you may think? I tend to be a homebody of sorts, especially when it comes to Chicago neighborhoods. Ever since I moved here years ago, I’ve mostly worked and played on the east side of Chicago. I love my neighborhood to death, can’t beat being just steps away from the beach, but this summer the West Loop has been essentially my second home.
There is something chic and cool happening with the West Loop that I feel I’ve been missing out on. From new and exciting restaurants popping up left and right, to the up and coming technology companies of our future, and to the vibrant art scene; the West Loop is the best loop. 😉 If you haven’t stopped by and grabbed yourself a rosé slushie at EXPAT, you sir/madame are missing out.
To match the vibrant and colorful neighborhood, I picked up this beautiful Ted Baker dress last week and knew it was the perfect dress to wear for a night out in Fulton Market. If there is one color that makes me feel like myself the most, it’s definitely hot pink. I’ve been a huge fan of Ted Baker lately, with his ultra feminine dresses and clothing, the fit can quality can’t be beat. I normally like to keep the rest of my look on the simple side; the dress speaks for itself.
Anyone else have a favorite area of Chicago they recently discovered? What about your home state?
