Isn’t it amazing how a few days of sunshine can really turn your mood around. Yesterday’s amazing weather really made me fall back in love with the city of Chicago.
I recently wrote about how I’ve been in a serious spring cleaning mode since the beginning of the year. In the last few months I’ve sold off a majority of my wardrobe, specifically pieces that I never wore but kept around “just in case”, and have been really editing my life to better fit my needs and how those needs fit within my personal style.
When it comes to my personal style, I’ve accepted that as much as I would love to be a jeans and tee kind of gal, I’m not. I feel the most confidant and myself in a well tailored A-line dress. So this year I’ve been experimenting with prints and patterns, like this diamond cut mosaic dress. I picked up this dress by Ella Moss during the ShopBop spring sale and I’m so excited to wear it out and about this city. Being a chestier girl, I’ve avoided halter tops in the past but some great tips and tricks from the internet have made this style totally possible.
I definitely feel like Summer 2016 will be the year of the mosaic prints and I’m more than happy to do my part to make this trend happen. What trends are you most excited about this season?
