October is one of those months that make me appreciate all the outdoor activities Chicago has to offer. I live just a quick 5 minute walk from one of my favorite Chicago events -the Green City Farmers Market which will be closing out the season at the end of the month. This past Saturday I headed on over to the area to pick up a bouquet of brightly colored mums (a large tote is a must have when going to the market) as I headed to Pomp & Circumstance (more on that next week!) for brunch with an old co-worker.
The brisk weather had me reaching for one of my thicker sweaters (to avoid actually bringing a jacket) along with a new fall wardrobe staple of mine, this suede midi skirt from Vince Camuto. Olive green is personally one of my favorite fall/winter colors – it just works on all skin tones so I know I’ll be reaching for this skirt quite a bit this season. A belt to give the outfit more definition and I was off enjoying the day!
I would love to hear what your favorite outdoor Chicago activity is! My fall bucket list needs a few more ideas!
