After a beautiful week of sunshine and warm temperatures, the first signs of fall showed up on Sunday. I was fully ready to embrace the cooler weather as it always bring a sort of calm to my life after an eventful summer.
I had a few minutes to myself Sunday morning to really think about how amazing of a summer it truly has been. From trips to Mexico, New Orleans, and Las Vegas to music events like Lollapalooza & Windy City Smokeout; sprinkled in with a few yacht parties and you have yourself an amazing summer to look back on. (insert praise hands emoji here)
Later that day I slowed things down considerably and enjoyed a late brunch with Christine. This 70’s inspired tea dress was the perfect outfit to welcome fall in. I love the moody floral print (a total fall on trend do) and boho 70’s silhouette; a perfect between-the-weather dress for the hot/cold days we experience in Chicago.
Also have I also mentioned how much I love my tote from Madewell. Like seriously guys, if a human could marry an inanimate object….this would be it. These past few weeks my tote has been a bit abused as it doubles as my work, lunch, and everything in between bag; the quality is amazing!
I have one more vacation on the books as I’m heading to Florida for our annual Disney World vacation this upcoming Saturday. I’m super giddy inside, since I’m literally the biggest nerd in the whole world. (feel free to judge me, hard) Follow along on my adventure, a.k.a. funny snaps of my grandma, on snapchat: caravanofstyle!
