This past weekend I made the trip back to Michigan to spend time with my family for the Easter holiday. While Chicago decided to let the sunshine and the temperatures warm up, Michigan on the other hand is holding on to the cold for dear life. I didn’t pack properly at all and ended up having to borrow things from my mom’s closet just to keep warm! Did I mention that my mom is 4 inches taller than me….yeah I look like a kid trying to play grown up.
I’m a naturally cold person so when I see people out on the streets in shorts and tee’s when the temperature hits 50 degrees, I swear an extra chill goes through me. I’m not sure when it’s appropriate to go sans tights but I’m holding on to mine for a bit longer. I love this new mosaic print dress I picked up on sale from ASOS last week. While I’m not ready to go full on spring with it yet, I added some texture elements like a leather jacket and booties to keep things edgy and warm.
How did everyone else spend their Easter? Hopefully will a ton of candy in your Easter basket!
