Growing up my teenage and college years were spent traveling all over Europe and the United States. I spent my summers overseas and ever since I made the leap to join the real world, traveling has been put on the back burner. This year I decided to make a change. Over the next few weeks I’ll be spending almost every weekend traveling to various cities around the country. While I’ll be starting off slow with just a few weekend trips to Las Vegas and New Orleans, I’m excited to visit these places again and enjoy what these cities have to offer.

I’m hoping that by next year I’ll be able to make my way to other parts unknown with trips to South America, Asia & South Africa. In the meantime, I’ll vicariously live through these 7 amazing travel blogs that have recently dominated my Feedly. If you are feeling restless for your next big adventure but are unsure of where to go, these bloggers have great tips and guides to help you get to just about any place in this entire world.

:: World of Wanderlust ::
If you ever wondered if it was possible to travel around the world by yourself, you’ll be pleasantly surprised that it is possible and Brooke Saward makes it look easy. Brooke is a native Australian who decided to drop everything and follow her wanderlust by traveling around the globe full time. Her photos are absolutely amazing and she does a wonderful job recapping her adventures while providing travel tips along the way!

:: Hand Luggage Only ::
This UK based travel blogger was started just a year ago by friends Lloyd & Yaya. It’s a sometimes hilarious yet still informative blog on the adventures of traveling around the globe by two guys. These guys have one of the most comprehensive “Destinations” tab that let’s you pick a city you want to visit and provides you with one hell of a guide on who/what/where to see it all! A must bookmark site!

:: The Overseas Escape ::
I’ve spent many years overseas in Europe traveling throughout the countries. My only regret is that I wish I documented my travels more. While my memories will always be with me, it’s sometimes nice to have a visual reminder of the beautiful cities I visited, and when that bug hits me I head over to The Overseas Escape. Margo is a born and raised Virginian who took the leap with her husband and moved to Germany to pursue her dreams of becoming a travel photographer. I must say this girl has got mad skills!  If you are interested in learning more about Europe for your next European adventure, Margo will be your go-to resource!

:: Mr. & Mrs. Globetrot ::
I’m not a romantic person by nature but there is one thing in this world that I find to be ultra romantic – dropping everything and traveling the world with your partner in crime. That’s exactly what newlyweds Yuriy & Julie did when they decided to get married and travel the world for six months on their honeymoon. These two take the most stunning nature photos and much of the time via an iPhone! Their current adventures are taking all over South America with some amazing off the beaten path places. The blog is as unique as it is personal as they give you glimpse into their day to day lives.

:: A Brit & A Broad ::
The title of this blog alone is one of the best I’ve ever come across. Macca “The Brit” and Brianna “The Broad” travel with a small team to capture video diaries of unique places around the world. Unlike most of these blogs that are photo heavy, A Brit & A Broad blog adds another layer by putting together beautiful videos from around the world. They give a true account of backpacking through various sites and if you are looking for less “vacation” and more “adventure” this team is a great resource! I’m not sure if I have it in me to backpack anymore but Macca & Brianna make it look so easy and seamless that every once in a while I wonder if it’s time to strap on the old backpack and head out the door.

:: The Travelling Light ::
Katie’s life is what I dream about some days! Katie the blogger behind The Travelling Light spends half of the year traveling the globe to meet with local and find those special untouched shops, restaurants, places that you only dream about stumbling upon. Her photography of the places she goes include the people of the cities, photos that capture the true essence of what makes it unique in it’s own way. My favorite part about her blog – she shares a few of these secret treasures and puts together some amazing city guides! This is a blog you won’t want to forget about – bookmark it!

:: The Blonde Abroad ::
While most of you may have already hear of The Blonde Abroad, I’m mentioning it again because Kiersten is doing everything right. Her tips on how to travel alone as a woman are some of the best I’ve read and her ability to try anything is what keeps me coming back. For those of you who love outdoor activities, Kiersten provides the most comprehensive options for each destination she travels too. Have you caught the wanderlust bug yet?
