Cancun, Mexico

I have been very fortunate in my life to have parents that encouraged me to travel. They supported me during my formative years by giving me so many opportunities to see this world. I haven’t shared much about my past travels on this blog yet, but I’ve been looking through my archives and plan to map out a few posts on my old backpacking and train hoping days.

This week has been a rough one for me – I definitely wasn’t ready to get back to the daily grind after such an amazing weekend spent in Cancun to celebrate Rachel’s bachelorette party. While I can’t divulge any details of the weekend because as we all know “what happens in Mexico, stays in Mexico”. I can however say that as a group you definitely enjoyed the constant flow of cocktails, sunshine and a whole lot of dancing. What I can share, just a few photos from the weekend that we snapped in between those beach and dancing days.

I spent all weekend wearing my new favorite swimsuit, an old graphic print dress (love this one!), and those adorable hats? Rachel’s awesome sister and MOH made us some goodie bags which included a fun pair of sunnies, a great tote bag, and these sun hats with polka dot ribbons in Rachel’s wedding colors. I was obsessed with mine and rarely took it off; the sun is fun but sun wrinkles are not.
