Well I for one wasn’t expecting the instant winter that showed up in Chicago on Sunday. It had been chilly for days but I wasn’t giving into the cold just yet. My winter wardrobe can vary from one extreme to another; I’ll wear a head to toe black outfit for days and then switch over to jewel tone colors that brighten up my face and make a statement. This Madewell shirt has been with me for at least 4 years now and is one of those pieces that I plan to keep for years to come. The emerald green color is the perfect pop of color and looks amazing on anyone with blue eyes; they will pop! I’ve realized I’m not over my scuba fabric love and recently purchased this ASOS skirt. The fabric will be perfect for holiday parties as it stretches just enough that you can’t see my food/wine baby.
As the cold settles in, I’ll be slowly trading in these Nine West booties for my beloved Ugg cardi boots; a sad acceptance. For now, I plan to relish any day that is above 35 degrees. Happy Monday!
