As much as I love the fall season, the lovely jewel tone colors of Chicago just seemed to have skipped us this year.
The sky have been permanently grey this week in Chicago and therefore I’ve got grey on my mind. The color grey and I are currently in an intense love affair and I don’t expect it to be ending anytime soon. I picked up this tartan print midi skirt last week and had the hardest time figuring out a way to wear it. While searching for inspiration online, it seemed like a crop top was the only way to go….except, crop tops are just not for me. There are certain trends/styles that I’ll never part take in and high on that list is crop tops and leggings. (Yes it is true, I don’t own a single pair of leggings. Ask Christine if you don’t believe me….) In the end though I stuck to my no fail approach when I struggle and that is to keep things monochromatic.
