It’s these in-between summer/fall days have always been a challenge for me. It’s hard to layer up properly when you know you’ll be hot during the day, however I’m always the one that complains about the cold once the sun goes down. This weekend, after an extensive re-organization of my closet, I decided to pull out a few of my fall favorites which included booties and my favorite fedora to combat these in-between days. I never considered myself a hat person until I randomly purchased this fedora years ago for a costume party back in college. These days I grab my fedora almost every other day to hide my flat roots.
This past weekend I met up with a few friends from college to watch the MSU game, a favorite weekend pastime for me during the fall months. I kept things casual and comfortable with a oversized blouse, my favorite skinny jeans and boots. One thing I learned this weekend is that no matter how old you get, college nostalgia during a football game can temporarily make you forget just how terrible Jello shots really are.
